Raspberry Smoothie

Bella and Poppy were busy playing in the sandpit. I had some bananas needing to be eaten, a few oranges in the fruit bowl.. and it was  almost time for a snack.. This raspberry smoothie was really refreshing and quick to make.


70g Frozen raspberries or 3/4 cup fresh raspberries

1/2 Banana approx. 100g

250ml Orange juice approx. 6 freshly squeezed oranges

Makes approx. 400ml


  • Add ingredients to a blender and whizz until smooth

Tip: For young children dilute smoothie with extra water

Options: If using fresh fruit add 4-5 ice cubes to the mix

How kids can help

  • Ask your helper to tip fruit into the blender but ensure blades are safe and power is turned off
  • Your helper will love manually juicing the oranges – and probably trying to eat them!
